25 ( +1 | -1 ) good opening bookI found this one very useful, it doesn't cover everything like the ECO book, but gives you a good overview of the most common play and the ideas behind them. Very user friendly

25 ( +1 | -1 ) Openings for the Club PlayerI've this book and I find it quite good as it often gives the reasons and ideas behind moves (not only a useless list of moves). It is no more published, I think, but you still can get a used copy on Amazon or other books website.
