great chess books? I wanted to ask higher rated players which (non-beginner) chess books they found to be the best or most beneficial?' Either for middle game, tactics, strategy, and/or theory?

good opening book I found this one very useful, it doesn't cover everything like the ECO book, but gives you a good overview of the most common play and the ideas behind them. Very user friendly

Openings for the Club Player I've this book and I find it quite good as it often gives the reasons and ideas behind moves (not only a useless list of moves). It is no more published, I think, but you still can get a used copy on Amazon or other books website.
