39 ( +1 | -1 ) Interesting QuestionTheoretically, if everyone played the "BEST MOVE(S)" possible on everyone turn, who would win; white or a draw? I know this is a theoretical question, but I was just thinking that, "is it really that if we were smart enough and more astute to the minute details of the game, we would always draw AND (OR) white would always win?" Thanks if you could give me some feedback.

20 ( +1 | -1 ) Chess is a draw...Both players start at exact equality and having a one move advantage is not enough to force a win against a theoretically perfect defense....
Which is why there are so many draws at the grandmaster level-;)

30 ( +1 | -1 ) The current opinion among top player is that chess is a draw with best play, however white has a practical advantage because black cannot afford to make even the slightest error - while white can afford a minor error or two without risking a loss.
